What Kululu is
Kululu (kululu.com) is a web-based photo collector built around one genuinely nice idea: a live Photo Wall. Guests scan a QR, upload photos and videos from their camera roll with no app or account, and everything appears in real time on a venue screen. Unlimited guests on every tier, ten interface languages, live-chat support, and a no-questions refund if you end up not using it.
Read the meter before you buy, though. The free tier allows 50 uploads, accepts them for 24 hours, and deletes everything after 7 days. The $39 Plus tier stores your event for 90 days; the $99 Pro tier for one year — and that's the ceiling. Moderation tools and removing the “Made with Kululu” branding are Pro-only. And there's no camera in the product: no capture UI, no film look, no shot roll, no reveal — it collects what guests already shot.
PartyCam plays the opposite game: the QR opens a real camera with a film look, the host sets the roll and the reveal, moderation is included everywhere — and the album has no deletion date, on any tier, including free.

Where PartyCam wins
No deletion clock, ever
Kululu's storage tops out at one year on its most expensive tier, and free-tier photos vanish in a week. PartyCam albums simply don't expire — the free tier included.
A camera, not a collection bin
Kululu waits for guests to upload what they happened to shoot. PartyCam opens a film camera at the QR scan, so the party gets captured in the moment, in one look.
The disposable mechanics
A host-set shot roll and a reveal you schedule are what make it feel like a disposable camera night. Kululu has neither — everything is instant and unlimited.
Moderation without the $99 tier
On Kululu, reviewing photos before guests see them requires Pro. PartyCam includes host moderation on every tier, free one included.
No badge on your memories
Kululu stamps “Made with Kululu” on everything below Pro. PartyCam albums and downloads carry no watermark or branding at any price.
$14.99 against $39
PartyCam's first paid tier undercuts Kululu Plus by $24 — and includes the camera, the film look, video clips, moderation, and permanent storage that Kululu doesn't offer at any price.
Where Kululu makes sense
No tool wins every event. Pick Kululu over PartyCam if these matter more to you:
- The live Photo Wall is their craft — real-time venue slideshow on every tier, with captions, likes, and pinned posts.
- Unlimited guests on every tier, including free — capacity math never enters the picture.
- You want the guestbook layer: decorated text posts and “warm wishes” alongside photos.
- Ten guest-interface languages, auto-detected per device.
- A genuinely unconditional refund policy — 100% back if you didn't use it, no questions asked.
What their users report
Recurring themes from public Kululu reviews, paraphrased and attributed — read the originals before you decide.
No independent review record
Kululu's Trustpilot page has zero reviews and there are no apps to review in the stores — the advertised 4.7 comes from a self-collected “wall of love” showing only five-star entries. Their affiliate program also means many third-party “reviews” are commissioned.

Free-tier limits bite mid-event
Third-party reviewers describe the free plan's limits — a 24-hour upload window, the 50-upload cap, 7-day deletion — surfacing during or right after the event, when it's too late to plan around them.

The price at checkout isn't the price on the page
Payments run through Paddle, which adds VAT/sales tax at checkout on top of the listed $39/$99 — a recurring surprise for non-US buyers in reviews.

What each costs
Kululu's consumer tiers are one-time, per event, unlimited guests, capped by uploads and time: Free ($0 — 50 uploads, 24-hour window, deleted after 7 days), Plus ($39 — 500 uploads, 1-month window, 90-day storage), and Pro ($99 — unlimited uploads, 3-month window, 1-year storage, plus moderation and branding removal). Businesses pay $99–$249 monthly.
PartyCam prices by guest count with everything included: free up to 10 guests, then $14.99 (50) to $149.99 (500), one-time. Moderation, the film camera, video clips, originals, and 24/7 support are on every tier, and no tier has a storage clock.
The clean way to compare: Kululu Pro at $99 buys unlimited uploads for one year. PartyCam at $34.99 covers a 100-guest wedding — with a camera in every pocket — forever.
PartyCam prices are one-time, in USD. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable. Kululu prices per their public pricing page, August 27, 2026.
The bottom line
Kululu is a solid pick if the live Photo Wall on a venue screen is the product you're actually buying, and unlimited guests on a free tier is a nice trick for a casual gathering — as long as everyone downloads within the week. But it's a collector with a countdown, not a camera: no film look, no roll, no reveal, moderation behind $99, and your photos on a one-year lease at best. PartyCam is the disposable-camera night Kululu doesn't attempt, with an album you never have to ransom back.
